Michael Moore divorce case is heating up

Many of our California readers who have gone through the divorce process are well aware that it can drag on for an extended period of time, with both sides fighting to get what they believe they are entitled to.

Director Michael Moore and his wife, Kathleen Glynn, find themselves in the middle of a vicious divorce case that continues to worsen with each passing day. While some people are able to remain friendly during a divorce, it does not appear that Moore and Glynn are among them.

Before heading to court next month, the couple is faced with many decisions. Most importantly is what they are going to do with their lakefront mansion that has been a center of attention for Moore for quite some time.

While there are many details surrounding this divorce case, as you dig into the net worth of the couple things become even more interesting. For example, the couple owns nine properties in New York and Michigan. This includes a Manhattan condo that was formed by creating three individual units.

Court documents do not include the specific valuation for each property; however, most agree that the couple's assets easily reach tens of millions of dollars.

Any divorce, regardless of how much money is at stake, can be complex and confusing for both parties. In the event of a high asset split, the process can become even more challenging as more money needs to be divided between the partners. Having an experienced divorce attorney is vital to ensuring that your assets are protected during a divorce.
